1800s Prairie Dance!!! :)

Hi y'all! :)

The 1800s Prairie Dance is coming up in almost 2 (!!!) months!!! :) :)

We can not say enough how much fun this is!
We went in March and had a BLAST!!
Our family is very strict on dancing, but this is a VERY clean and historical dance!

The deadline to purchase tickets is August 15th BUT if you buy your tickets before August 1st you will be entered into a drawing of 1 of 5 tickets that will be given away!! :)

The money is SO worth the fun night you will have.
We would love to see you there!! :)

The Fall Ball will be held on
October 4th, 2014.
It will be held at the same location, but we're going to change it up a little. This is going to be more of an 1800's Prairie dance and Ice-Cream Social. The same modesty requirements are in place. However, it is more casual, so no need to wear hoops ladies! We do ask that all women be in floor length skirts or dresses, whether that's just a denim skirt or tiered cotton skirt, that's up to you. If you have prairie looking dresses-feel free to wear them. Men-need some ideas on how you can dress prairie-like? Throw on an old cowboy hat and some suspenders. But again, these are only a few ideas.

Have a great day!!

How awesome!!! sounds so exciting!! isn't it fantastic when people take the time to organise clean, edifying dancing for everyone??? we have Regency dances over here a couple of times a year, run by a family from our church, which are so much fun!!! and one of the dances we do is the Virginia Reel too!! :D do you know the names of the other dances you do?

    1. Oh! That would be so fun if y'all could attend!! :)
Really, the dresses aren't a big deal. You could even wear a skirt with ruffles and a blouse! We three girls are *attempting* to sew our dresses, although we have never been shown how to sew the bodice part... so it is quite interesting. ;)
Tickets are only available for three more days.... ;)
