TOOOO LONG!
(We thought we had posted this!) (Written May 5th)
Hello! We are terrible bloggers! :/ Life has been so busy! Well, Emilie (our dog) has had another litter of puppies on March 23! She had six puppies, two girls and four boys! I will try to post pictures a little later! Well, Wednesday, I (Ruth) went to take Emilie for our normal walk to the Post Office and she was lying by the woodpile and she couldn't move and she was panting, and drooling! I went inside to get Sarah and Hannah,. Hannah picked Emilie up and hosed her down (thinking maybe she was too hot) we brought her inside and her legs were as straight and tight as bowstrings! We called our uncle (who is a Vet) and he said maybe it was a snake bite, but we didn't see any marks. Mom called the boys (our older brothers) and Dad. The boys came home to look at Emilie and Joel (He LOVES dogs!) looked over her and found fang marks on her legs! It was either a rattlesnake or a copperhead. We thought Emilie would die! After dinner Emilie started to look better and her legs relaxed. Thursday Emilie seemed fine! Emilie will probably always limp now. Thursday (May 3rd) was Jeremy's twelfth birthday! Joshua and Hannah had Orthodontics appointments Thursday, so everyone went out to town, we got out at the Wal-mart and gave away the four boy puppies! We kept the girls Dixie, and Nutmeg (or Meg for short)! On Sunday our youngest brother Jonathan is getting baptized!!! Our Nana is here from Virginia for the baptism! We will be moving again for Dad's job this time to North Carolina! Well, I think we are up to date, and Lord willing we will post more frequently!

Has it already been over a week since we last posted??? Ok, it has! :) On Monday it...... SNOWED!!!! All of our siblings were outside running through it in their short sleeves! Yep, that's us! Us girls have almost finished making a quilt! We will finish it this Tuesday, Lord willing! Hopefully we can make Abigail a little dress this week as well! Have a blessed Lord's Day tomorrow!

Just a note.
I just feel like writing something right now! :) We spent the day cleaning and doing school. It is wet and COLD here! As soon as my brothers got home from work they made a fire and one started making beef jerky!! YUMMY!! Our family goes WILD for beef jerky :) HAHAHA! I tried dehydrating some bananas and apples with the dehydrator Daddy got us for Christmas. It came out OK (I guess) ;) Well, just writing something quickly!

Merry Christmas!
Wow! Christmas has come and gone already! Where has the year gone?????
We hope y'all had a Merry Christmas (Jesus is the reason for the season)! We celebrated our on Thursday! Man, it was hard to keep our cats away from the Christmas tree! Hahaha! :) Dad had Thursday and Friday off! We had a ball! We got art work, fabric (for sewing) (we can HARDLY wait to make some skirts!!), BEAUTIFUL matching necklaces from Dad :), artwork, candy, games, and we had the whole day to play with our siblings!
God is good!

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are an abomination unto the LORD thy God. Deuteronomy 22:5
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 1 Timothy 2:9-10
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Romans 14:21

We do not want to be responsible for causing a brother to stumble. Can shorts be described as long and flowing? What about blue jeans? You might be able to describe them as loose but are you convinced they are long and flowing? Can you describe a skirt that is slit up higher than the length of a dress you could wear decently, as modest? If the dress is too tight to walk without a high slit, maybe the dress is too tight to wear!
Sisters, let us repent of our arrogance and rebellion. Let us turn to the Lord with a humble and contrite heart and may the God of mercy grant us pardon for our worldly and selfish desire to dress contrary to the glory of God.
If you haven´t honestly and earnestly sought God in how He would have you dress, then I urge you dear sisters to do so now! I pray God gives you the grace to walk and dress as befits a child of the King. In so doing, you are considering your brother, loving your neighbor and honoring your God.
